I
was responsible for Printer checks and Maintenance. Placed inventory deliveries in

While

Implemented a software to process gene expression data-set for lung cancer and find useful patterns in the data-set. The software also generated association rules between different features. Implemented an Access Database for a Car dealership [Fall 2003]·

a Website for Mentor/Mentee match using ASP

Implemented
a website using ASP for matching mentor and mentee’s according to their
preferences. ·
As
a project leader this project helped me in improving my web development
and time management skills.
Designed and Implemented a Software for a mid-size restaurant using Java [Spring 2003]·
Designed
and implemented a complete software for a networked restaurant environment
using Java and a mySQL database backend. A restaurant could use this
software to decrease staff and increase efficiency. ·
The
software enabled customers to order food, view status of their order. The
managerial interface helped the waiter and the manager view the current
statistics. This software also included a TCP/IP based chat client.
Simulation of a Virtual Memory Manager using Java [Fall 2002]·
Wrote
a java program simulating a virtual memory manager. ·
This
project helped me to understand the concepts involved in memory
management. Simulation of a real network scenario using Java Swing [Spring 2003]·
Simulated
a networked environment that used specific protocols in Java
Swing. ·
Graphed
the results to know the best optimized configuration of the
network. Implemented
a multiplayer Chess game in Assembly language
[Spring 2002]
·
Wrote
routines for a multiplayer chess game in assembly code (68HC11). The
routines were one of the most efficient ones. ·
This
project taught me about the efforts involved in making a successful and
efficient product and the amount it takes to deliver on time.
Simulation of a Coffee Shop using Java [Spring 2002]·
Wrote
a java program simulating a coffee shop to estimate the time required to
serve a customer and the amount of waiting time for a customer. Thus the
coffee shop can decide if they are in need of any more counters.

This
was a good exercise using queues Designed and Implemented a 4-bit Microprocessor [Fall 2001]·
Designed
and Implemented a microprocessor as part of my coursework. The 4 bit
programmable microprocessor could perform the basic arithmetic operations
like addition and subtraction. ·
This
project taught me about the various issues involved in design and
implementation of a project. I learnt about the differences and subtleties
associated with the various phases in a projects life cycle.
